Four rooms, one address
Our building on Papaverhoek holds four spaces for hire. The Restaurant seats 100 and takes 150 standing. The Terrace seats up to 200 and holds more than 500 standing. The Sauna room is the smallest: 35 seated, 80 standing. The Waterfront holds 80 seated or 100 standing.
Every room shares the same base: our Mediterranean kitchen, a stocked bar and a crew that runs the evening. Below is how the rooms map to group sizes.
A room for 50 guests
For a seated dinner of around 50, we point you to the Waterfront. It takes up to 80 at the table, and the room is yours alone. Hire is €250 with a minimum bar spend of €1,500.
For 50 standing at a borrel or party, look at the Sauna room. It holds 80 on their feet; you pay €250 hire and count on a €1,000 minimum bar spend. Small enough to feel full, big enough to dance.
A room for 100 guests
Around the 100 mark you have two options. Standing, the Waterfront takes exactly 100. Seated, the Restaurant gives you 100 chairs and space for 150 standing; exclusive hire of the Restaurant is quoted on request.
Add DJ equipment for €250 and the evening keeps going.
What comes with the hire
You hire a room with the whole house attached. The kitchen cooks Mediterranean, family-style: three courses at €35 per person, four at €40, and a festive Christmas menu at €45 in December. For drinks-led events we bring out borrel snacks at €7 per person.
The bar covers the rest. Basic Bar pours house wine, Peroni and soft drinks at €35 per person for 3 hours. Premium Bar adds cocktails and special beers at €50. Our crew stays with your group all evening. That Mediterranean state of mind comes as standard.
Amsterdam Noord: just above the centre
The rooms sit in a former shipyard building at Papaverhoek in Amsterdam Noord, near the IJ. Guests hop on the free ferry behind Amsterdam Centraal and reach our door in about fifteen minutes. Bus 38 and the Noorderpark metro stop are nearby, and there is parking close to the entrance.
You get a room in Noord, with the city centre one ferry ride away.

Frequently asked questions
What does the hire fee include?
The fee covers the room itself, with bar and crew attached. Food and drinks are booked separately: drink packages from €35 per person, sharing menus from €35 per person, and borrel snacks at €7. DJ equipment is a €250 add-on.
How does the minimum bar spend work?
On top of the €250 hire fee, we agree a minimum for what your group spends at the bar: €1,000 for the Sauna room, €1,500 for the Waterfront. Your quote shows exactly how that works out for your group size.
Do we have to book food as well?
The kitchen is part of the house, and most groups pair their room with a sharing menu (€35 to €45 per person) or borrel snacks (€7 per person). Describe the evening you have in mind and we build the offer around it.
Which rooms are fully private?
The Sauna room and the Waterfront are private hire spaces: book one and it belongs to your group for the evening. The Restaurant can be hired exclusively on request, which gives you the entire dining room.
Can you host more than 150 guests?
Yes, on the Terrace. It seats up to 200 for dinner and holds over 500 for a standing reception. If you want to combine indoor and outdoor space, mention it in your request.
Can we bring a DJ?
Yes. We have DJ equipment ready to go, hired at €250, so your DJ only needs to bring themselves.
