The restaurant is the soul of Café Soleil, a warm, characterful dining room inside a former shipyard building on the IJ canal in Amsterdam Noord. High ceilings, warm lighting and an open kitchen give the space a Mediterranean feel that makes every evening feel like a holiday, without going far.
For groups, the restaurant is the ideal setting for a private dinner, corporate lunch or exclusive reception. With seating for 100 and standing room for 150, it works for intimate dinners and larger celebrations alike. For exclusive hire, the whole room is yours.

Can I hire the Café Soleil restaurant exclusively?
Yes, the restaurant is available for exclusive hire on request. Your group will have the whole room to itself, with full service and the kitchen at your disposal. Get in touch for a tailored quote. We respond within one working day.
How many guests does the restaurant hold?
The restaurant seats up to 100 guests and holds up to 150 standing. For larger events, a combination with the terrace (up to 200 seated, 500+ standing) or the House of Woodstock (100 seated / 150 standing) is possible.
What dinners are available for groups?
The kitchen team serves Mediterranean dinners family style: a three-course menu (snacks, starters, main, €35 p.p.) or four-course menu (+ dessert, €40 p.p.). All dishes are shared at the table, warm, relaxed and genuinely Mediterranean. Paella (one pan for up to 60 guests) is available on request.
Is the restaurant suitable for corporate dinners?
Absolutely. Café Soleil also offers daytime meeting packages: from a half-day with coffee and water (€17.50 p.p.) to a full day with lunch (€65 p.p.). For evening dinners, we offer a full private dining experience for corporate groups.
How do I get to Café Soleil from Amsterdam Centraal?
Café Soleil is in Amsterdam Noord, roughly 10 minutes by the free GVB ferry from Amsterdam Centraal (direction NDSM), then a 5-minute walk. By car, free parking is available right at the venue.
